By accessing or using the VettIQ platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VettIQ is an AI-powered code security scanning platform that uses multiple large language models to detect vulnerabilities, spyware, backdoors, and other security threats in source code. The Service includes code scanning, vulnerability reporting, fix generation, and related features.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Credits and Billing

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Credits are consumed when you perform scans. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits per month. Paid plans provide additional credits and features as described on our pricing page. Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to scan code you do not have authorization to analyze
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or detection logic
Use the Service to develop competing products
Submit malicious code designed to attack or compromise our infrastructure
Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
Exceed rate limits or abuse the API

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to code you submit for scanning. We do not claim ownership of your code. Scan results, reports, and generated fixes are provided for your use under your subscription plan. The Custos platform, including its AI models, algorithms, and user interface, remains the intellectual property of LumenIQ.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for high detection accuracy, we do not guarantee that all vulnerabilities will be detected or that all findings will be accurate. The Service should be used as part of a comprehensive security strategy, not as the sole security measure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumenIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages from security breaches in code that was scanned by the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through the subscriber portal. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
